You will take ownership of premium and claims bordereaux processes, account reconciliations, and stakeholder engagement.

Acting as a key technical contact within the business, you will ensure the accurate administration, reconciliation and reporting of risks whilst maintaining high standards of data quality, financial control and service delivery.

  • Identify data quality issues, anomalies and reporting gaps.
  • Work closely with underwriting, finance and claims teams to resolve exceptions and discrepancies.
  • Produce MI and reporting relating to bordereaux submissions, settlements and outstanding items.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong working relationships across Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Operations.
  • Respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on technical accounting and bordereaux processes.
Process Improvement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Technical Accounts function.
  • Identify opportunities to improve controls, efficiencies and reporting accuracy.
  • Assist with audits, compliance reviews and delegated authority oversight activities.
  • Support integration projects and operational change initiatives as required.

  • Comfortable managing bordereaux submissions from receipt through to validation, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of the operational lifecycle between brokers, coverholders, TPAs and insurers.
  • Demonstrable experience investigating and resolving accounting, settlement and data discrepancies.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and perform complex reconciliations.
  • Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise competing deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across underwriting, finance, claims and operations teams.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with a natural ability to identify issues and drive them through to resolution.
