What Is the Opportunity?

Business Insurance Specialty provides highly specialized insurance solutions for clients worldwide and in various industry sectors, traded via brokers, through our syndicate at Lloyd’s of London and the London market.

You will support the underwriting teams by administering and logging data, preparing underwriting information, and dealing with queries. Build an insurance skillset through mentorship, professional qualifications via an apprenticeship, and on-the-job training.

This role offers flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement: three days in the office and two days at home, subject to policy changes. It also includes a GBP/EUR 1,000 new joiner referral bonus for successful referrals.

What Will You Do?

• Provide administrative support, including file maintenance, creating front sheets, and ensuring quote accuracy.
• Gather and analyze information to evaluate risks and monitor responses for timely pricing results.
• Follow up on actions from meetings and resolve queries on overdue premiums or debts.
• Review reports for data accuracy and complete outstanding actions.
• Assist in reviewing broker submissions, endorsements, and renewals for accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with brokers, coverholders, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Undergo extensive training to develop underwriting and negotiation skills.
• Build relationships within the company to share information and develop sales plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What is a Must Have?

• A-Levels or equivalent qualification.
