Experienced in the Regional Financial Lines (FL) & Institutions market and looking for a new challenge?

Then we have just the role for you!

As we build on our Financial Institutions capabilities in the UK regional space, we are looking for an Underwriter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and people skills, as you will negotiate with key broker partners, meet clients face-to-face in pre-renewal meetings, and develop our FL offering across the UK Regional network.

About the job:

You will be part of the Regional Financial Lines team, operating under a Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS) underwriting license. You will underwrite Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers Liability insurance, and Commercial Crime insurance. Your responsibilities include underwriting renewals and new business aligned with GCS & Mid-Market strategies. Effective communication and time management are essential.

This position suits a motivated and professional individual eager to advance their career within a leading insurer.

Skills and experience required:

Competence in underwriting Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers liability, and Commercial Crime insurance. Experience in Cyber, Pension Trustees Liability, and/or Professional Indemnity underwriting is advantageous.

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Interest in business and macro-economic environment
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, brokers, agents, and clients to drive growth
