Acorn Insurance in Formby, near Liverpool, is seeking an Underwriter to support clients and agents, convert new business, and service existing accounts. You will work 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with hybrid working options and a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.
Responsibilities include rating of new business and renewals, motor trade risk assessment, and ensuring FCA compliance.

As an underwriter, your main mission will be to provide exceptional support to our clients and agents, ensuring the conversion of new business. This will also include servicing existing accounts and meeting retention targets. Communication is key in this role as you will be dealing with enquiries via email, telephone, virtually and on occasions face-to-face. You will also be expected to carry out any additional tasks instructed by your Head of department.
