Job summary

University of Bath is seeking an Admissions Selector (Undergraduate) to provide a high-quality experience for applicants throughout the UCAS process. You will assess applications, make offers or decisions, and verify fee status while maintaining accuracy and fairness.

You will engage with prospective students, parents, academic staff and external organisations, contributing to recruitment activities and occasional recruitment fair presence.

Qualifications

• A high standard of IT and administrative skills including the use of email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Effective communication skills to support applicants, parents/guardians, academic staff, external organisations, or other team members
• Confidence using databases and reporting tools
• Ability to work in a team and independently and manage workload according to priorities

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of courses and provide an outstanding experience for applicants throughout the application process
• Assess UCAS applications and make offers or Unsuccessful decisions
• Check decisions made by others and assess applicant fee status
• Support enquiries from prospective undergraduate students and their representatives
• Represent the Admissions Team at recruitment fairs and events
