Job summary

Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in East Grinstead is seeking an experienced ultrasound practitioner to perform a wide range of scans including renal, abdominal, DVT Doppler and small parts, excluding maternity.

You will report your own workload, provide written reports to referrers, and participate in audits, quality control and upskilling into new protocols. Teaching registrars and RDAs will be part of your duties within the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Performs ultrasound scanning and independently reports results.
• Participates in teaching registrars/trainee ultrasound staff.
• Engages in vetting and protocolling of requests and QA activities.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound scanning across renal, abdominal, DVT Doppler and small parts.
• Vet and protocol requests from referrers.
• Direct RDAs and support training of new staff.
