Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in East Grinstead is seeking an experienced ultrasound practitioner to perform a wide range of scans including renal, abdominal, DVT Doppler and small parts, excluding maternity.
You will report your own workload, provide written reports to referrers, and participate in audits, quality control and upskilling into new protocols. Teaching registrars and RDAs will be part of your duties within the radiology team.
To perform a wide range of ultrasound scans this could include renal, abdominal, DVT Doppler, gynaecological and some small parts according to Department Protocols, this excludes maternity services. Maintain a high standard of clinical expertise and care for the patient. Scan and independently report own workload of patients, providing written reports to the referring clinician. Participate in research, audit, quality control as part of the wider healthcare team as required. Be prepared to upskill into new scan protocols such as hernia scans/ foreign body localisation etc. Previous applicants need not apply.
