Job summary

Netbox Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramping Driver for a permanent position based in Kent with UK-wide travel. The role involves overnight stays, a varied fleet, and opportunities to train on Walking Floor operations.

Key duties include safe operation of a Class 1 vehicle, timely deliveries, daily checks, and accurate paperwork. A CPC and tachograph card are required, along with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• 2+ years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card held.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, professional attitude and willingness to do overnights.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle and trailer.
• Carry out UK deliveries and collections with overnight stays.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and secure loads.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain customer relations.
• Adhere to drivers' hours and tachograph rules.
