Job summary

Culina is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent tramping roles based in Appleton Warrington. Nationwide UK haulage, modern fleet, and potential events logistics support offer long-term career prospects.

Role involves general haulage, trunking, RDC work, and customer service with emphasis on safety, hours regulations, and vehicle checks. Permanent, full-time roles with competitive pay and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points with no DD or DR convictions.
• A flexible approach to tramping and working away from home.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK.
• General haulage and tramping operations.
• RDC deliveries and collections.
• Trunking and distribution work.
• Customer deliveries and collections.
• Drop and swap operations.
• Ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
