Job summary

ICE is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK, diagnosing, servicing and repairing industrial cleaning equipment. You will conduct maintenance, tests and repairs, keeping strict SLAs and safety standards. Significant travel, driving and hands-on fault-finding will be required.

The role emphasises strong customer communication, precise reporting on site, and using SSP for real-time updates. ICE offers training, progression and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Experience with vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, scrubbers and sweepers.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in field service engineering in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient IT skills, including tablet devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to customers through courteous and knowledgeable communication.
• Ensure all jobs are attended to and repairs are completed within SLA.
• Attend follow up calls to complete repairs where parts were ordered.
• Attend scheduled planned maintenance services as instructed.
• Attend and complete all scheduled PA Test calls on time.
• Maintain high standard of service and repair on machinery.
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules and procedures at all times.
• Update all jobs in real time on central database SERVICESMARTPro (SSP).
• Provide accurate site visit reports to maintain asset data integrity.
• Order parts via system to complete breakdown calls.
• Manage van stock and re-order parts as needed.
• Assist in developing more efficient workflows and changes.
