Job summary

Octopus Electric Vehicles is expanding its TechOps Team in London and seeks a TechOps Manager to lead the Systems Analysts and oversee the support desk. You will manage investigations, resolutions, and collaboration across teams to improve services, while ensuring compliance in the UK financial services context.

The role combines people leadership with vendor and SaaS tool management, driving continuous improvement of our IT operations in a fast-moving, hybrid workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a hybrid software support team.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and vendor management experience.
• Ability to bridge non-technical business users and technical teams.
• Familiarity with SaaS tools and in-house applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee application support management across bespoke apps and SaaS tools.
• Ensure SLA/KPI adherence and rapid escalation for complex issues.
• Monitor vendor performance and manage renewal processes.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to drive improvements.
• Lead knowledge management and team development.
