Matchtech is seeking a Technical Operations Specialist to support UK fintech operations, acting as the main technical liaison between UK and US teams. The role is remote with regular travel to London for in-person collaboration and team days.

You will own UK technical support, QA for UK releases, and coordinate with US teams on product timing and quality. Strong troubleshooting, ticketing, and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical operations, technical support, or technical services roles within fintech or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with technical investigations, troubleshooting, and running database queries.
• Experience with UAT and QA processes for software releases.
• Experience authoring and managing tickets in Jira or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technical support for the business, including investigation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of issues.
• Manage client-facing tickets through Salesforce and provide timely updates.
• Perform initial diagnostics and enable hand-off to engineering when needed.
• Run database queries and technical investigations to identify issues.
• Own UK bug reporting, triage, investigation, and escalation to engineering.
• Be the primary technical escalation point for the UK CX team.
• Execute and sign off UAT for UK product releases.
• Coordinate with US engineering and product teams on UK release timing and quality.
• Test UK-specific mobile app releases and functionalities.
• Provide quality sign-off before UK client releases go live.
