Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in Washington (UK) seeks a confident Team Leader to guide and inspire our retail team in a busy store environment. You will drive customer service excellence, coach colleagues, and oversee stock presentation, merchandising and daily store operations to deliver great results.

You will lead by example, communicating clearly, supporting development, and ensuring safety and compliance while building strong connections with the local community and customers.

Leadership & Team Development:

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing duties, to ensure smooth workflows.
• Lead engaging visual merchandising efforts to create a clean and inviting space for customers and colleagues alike.
• Prioritise Health & Safety, safeguarding the wellbeing of your team and customers.

Sales & Performance:

• Motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify growth opportunities for team members and suggest strategies for their development.

Customer Experience:

• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and ensure it’s delivered consistently.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Build connections within the local community, enhancing the store’s personal and welcoming atmosphere.
