Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in Skipton is hiring a Team Leader for a permanent part-time role on the High Street. You will guide a retail team to deliver strong customer service, manage visual merchandising, and run daily store operations with a focus on safety and standards.

Lead by example, motivate colleagues, and drive sales targets while creating a welcoming shopping environment for our customers and community.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service, visual merchandising, and operational skills.
• Excellent communication and people-development abilities.
• Proactive and goal-driven with a track record of achieving targets.
• Experience in stock control and loss prevention is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the retail team through coaching, training and mentoring.
• Oversee store operations, opening/closing duties, and stock presentation.
• Drive sales and KPIs by monitoring performance and coaching the team.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and brand representation at all times.
• Create engaging visual merchandising to maintain a welcoming store.

Sales & Performance:

• Motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify growth opportunities for team members and suggest strategies for their development.

Customer Experience:

• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and ensure it’s delivered consistently.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, creating memorable shopping experiences.
