Zusammenfassung

PE Global is recruiting a UK Statutory Reporting Accountant for a leading global energy technology company based in Aberdeen. This is a full time role for 12 months with hybrid working, with three days onsite.

You will prepare and review statutory accounts for UK entities in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102), work closely with external auditors and deliver high-quality financial reporting. The role requires proven audit experience, strong technical accounting skills and the ability to drive

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience of audit and statutory reporting.
• Strong UK GAAP knowledge (FRS 102) and awareness of US GAAP.
• Proven ability to improve financial reporting processes with technology.

Aufgaben

• Oversee audit consolidation for the main UK entity and other UK entities.
• Prepare and approve audit packs and statutory accounts under FRS 102.
• Identify statutory adjustments on conversion from US to UK GAAP.
• Coordinate with ledger controllers and external auditors on technical accounting issues.
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues in statutory reporting.
• Draft management papers for audits and ad-hoc accounting projects.
• Stay updated on statutory accounting developments and reporting standards.
