Job summary

PE Global is currently recruiting a UK Statutory Reporting Accountant for a leading global energy technology company based in Aberdeen. This is a full-time 12-month contract with hybrid working, requiring 3 days onsite.

You will prepare and review statutory accounts for UK entities, ensure compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102), and liaison with auditors. The role involves maintaining high standards of financial reporting and supporting ad-hoc accounting projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with experience in statutory reporting and audit.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and regulatory guidance.
• Proven ability to prepare and review statutory accounts and associated disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit consolidation for the main UK group and related entities.
• Prepare and approve audit packs and statutory accounts under FRS 102.
• Identify statutory adjustments when converting from US to UK GAAP.
• Coordinate with ledger controllers and external auditors.
