Job summary

Unum UK is seeking a UK Category Manager / TPRM Lead to shape category strategies, sourcing and third-party risk across critical suppliers. You will partner with Business, Legal, Risk and Compliance to deliver value, resilience and regulatory alignment within a global organisation.

Hybrid role based in Dorking, London or Basingstoke, requiring 5–8 years in procurement, category management or risk. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier governance and risk due diligence to drive commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 5–8 years' experience across procurement, category management, supplier relationship management and/or third-party risk management.
• Experience developing and delivering category, sourcing or supplier strategies in a complex organisation.
• Experience managing strategic or critical suppliers in a regulated environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies and roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Use market intelligence and analysis to identify opportunities and optimise value.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activity: requirements, supplier evaluation, RFIs/RFPs, negotiation and contracting.
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to align objectives and priorities.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships with governance, performance reviews and improvement plans.
• Coordinate third-party risk, due diligence and regulatory compliance across supplier arrangements.
