Job summary

Unum UK is seeking a UK Sourcing Category Manager / Third Party Risk Lead to shape category strategies and drive supplier performance across regulated and non‑regulated areas. Hybrid role, 3 days in office from Dorking, London or Basingstoke, with meaningful responsibility for risk, governance and value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 5–8 years’ experience in procurement, category management, or third‑party risk.
• Experience managing strategic or critical suppliers in regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFI/RFP, negotiations and supplier selection.
• Partner with Legal, Risk and Compliance to ensure regulatory and outsourcing governance.
