We have an excellent UK Sales Manager career opportunity at a leading End of Arm Robotics Equipment and Applications company. Our principal consultant, Robin Thomas, is seeking a talented, ambitious UK sales manager to oversee the firm's UK sales operations and recruit new team members. An engineering/industrial automation, technical, and sales background is essential.

Operate from your home office | Recruit and build your team | Attractive salary

The role involves both business development and account management. Initially, the focus will be on business development, targeting OEMs, integrators, end users, and distributors. The position is home-based but requires extensive UK travel for face-to-face meetings and industry events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by managing and developing a high-potential market
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
• Manage projects from concept to production, including identifying applications, gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and obtaining customer approval
• Prospect new OEMs and other clients (70%) and nurture existing OEM relationships (30%)
• Create a business plan and strategy with the Managing Director to support 3-5 year sales growth
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and shows
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
• Handle technical and commercial inquiries
• Negotiate contracts and secure new business
• Recruit, manage, and lead the UK sales team
