Responsibilities

Lead, inspire and develop a team of underwriters with regular coaching and performance reviews.
Drive branch performance metrics, including GWP, new business, retention, income growth and service standards.
Embed a proactive trading and sales culture with robust pipeline management and broker engagement.
Provide technical underwriting guidance and ensure consistent application of authority and appetite.
Ensure efficient operations, processes and governance across the team.
Promote compliance with regulatory requirements and a culture of accountability.
