Job summary

Fujitsu UK is seeking a UK Head of Quantum to establish and lead a new UK quantum capability, reporting to the UK CTO within the Technology Group. This role will translate Fujitsu’s global quantum strength into market-ready services and client outcomes.

You will build the team, governance, and delivery model, design an operating framework, and ensure seamless integration with global Fujitsu teams while engaging with sectors, partners, and universities to shape opportunities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the quantum computing landscape and market opportunities.
• Experience establishing a new technology function within a large organisation.
• Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business value.
• Experience engaging with academia, partners, and government bodies.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead the UK Quantum function with a clear strategy.
• Define operating model, governance, and delivery standards.
• Integrate UK efforts with global Fujitsu teams and research units.
• Build a multidisciplinary UK team across consulting and engineering.
• Shape architectures and customer solutions across quantum tech.
