Job summary

Fujitsu UK is seeking a visionary UK Head of Quantum to establish and lead the UK Quantum function, translating global capability into market-ready services and client outcomes. The role reports to the UK CTO within the UK Technology Group and requires strategic leadership across governance, operating models, and cross-sector engagement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the quantum computing landscape, including maturity, opportunities and disruption.
• Experience with quantum computing, optimisation, simulation and hybrid architectures.
• Experience establishing a new technology function or centre of excellence.
• Ability to build, lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience defining operating models and governance for emerging tech.
• Ability to align local market needs with global strategies.
• Experience translating advanced tech into commercial propositions.
• Strong stakeholder management including C-suite engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead the UK Quantum function and strategy.
• Define governance, roles, and engagement with sectors and delivery teams.
• Integrate with Fujitsu's global quantum ecosystem and partners.
• Build multidisciplinary UK team across consulting, architecture, and delivery.
• Shape architectures for quantum technologies and AI-enabled workflows.
• Deliver advisory engagements and roadmaps for client adoption.
• Develop GTM propositions for quantum consulting and delivery.
• Develop partnerships with universities, industry players, and government bodies.
• Establish standards for quantum delivery, security, and compliance.
