Job summary

Changan UK R&D Centre Limited is seeking a UK Product & Pricing Specialist to drive analytics for the UK product and pricing strategy. You will own competitor benchmarking, monthly payment modelling across UK retail and fleet, and RV lifecycle management.

You will work with Finance, Marketing and Sales across the business, maintain UK data sources (SMMT/JATO/Cap HPI), and turn insights into actionable pricing recommendations. English is the working language; based at BBP with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field.
• 3 years in UK automotive industry in product planning or pricing.
• UK commercial/finance knowledge incl PCP, PCH, HP, BeV incentives.
• Familiarity with UK market data sources (SMMT, JATO, Cap HPI).
• Basic Mandarin; advanced Excel; advanced PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a UK competitor database across segments (BEV/PHEV/HEV).
• Produce feature-by-feature spec comparisons and identify gaps.
• Track competitor activity and publish a regular movement summary.
• Build MSRP/OTR and TP ladders by trim and powertrain for launch and in-life actions.
• Run price-positioning analyses and quantify price gaps vs competitors.
• Model discounts, dealer margins and impact on net revenue per unit.
• Build monthly payment models across retail and fleet structures (PCP, PCH, HP, etc.).
• Forecast UK market data and volume by trim/powertrain/channel.
• Analyze customer data to create buyer profiles for positioning.
