Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Director - UK Procurement Service Lead to establish and lead a new procurement consultancy within our PMCM business, within the CIU team. You will be based from Birmingham or London and take ownership of defining the vision, capability and growth strategy for the service, becoming a trusted procurement advisor across public and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• Chartered Membership of MCIPS or equivalent.
• Experience leading procurement functions, teams or consultancy services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and growth of WSP's UK PMCM Procurement Service offering.
• Create and implement a business plan for a sustainable, commercially successful service.
• Develop trusted client relationships across multiple sectors and lead bid/pursuit activities.
• Provide strategic procurement expertise across programme, project and commercial commissions.
• Build and grow a high-performing procurement team and collaborate across PMCM.
