Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Technical Director - UK Procurement Service Lead to establish and lead a new procurement consultancy within PMCM.

You will define the vision, grow capabilities, and drive growth from Birmingham or London, delivering high‑quality procurement solutions for complex UK projects. Qualifications

• Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS).
• Significant experience leading procurement functions, teams or consultancy services within infrastructure, construction, programme management or professional services.
• Proven track record of developing and winning new business and maintaining senior client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate market opportunities into sustainable growth.
• Experience delivering strategic procurement advice across complex programmes and projects.
• Demonstrable leadership experience, including developing and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and growth of WSP's UK PMCM Procurement Service offering.
• Create and implement a business plan to establish a sustainable and commercially successful offering.
• Develop trusted relationships with key clients and stakeholders across multiple sectors.
• Lead business development, identify opportunities and support major bid and pursuit activities.
• Provide strategic procurement expertise across programme, project and commercial commissions.
• Build, mentor and grow a high-performing procurement team as the service expands.
• Collaborate with colleagues across PMCM and the wider WSP business to provide integrated client solutions.
• Champion excellence in delivery, innovation, inclusion, wellbeing and health and safety.
