Job summary

DHL UK Supply Chain is seeking a proactive Planning First Line Manager to lead and develop the Planning team across the UK Inbound operation, ensuring timely collections are planned for our vendors.

You will streamline processes, align inbound and outbound activities, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative culture that drives cost savings and service excellence. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of transport planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transport and route planning required.
• Previous team supervision/management experience required.
• Experience using Paragon Planning tool desirable.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planning team and develop people and processes across UK Inbound operations.
• Streamline processes with Vendor Communication team to ensure daily collections are planned.
• Unite Inbound and Outbound to create synergies and cost savings.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement to meet goals.
• Foster a collaborative team culture with accountability and teamwork.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and account teams.
