Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Rugby (CV23) is seeking a Planning First Line Manager to lead the Planning team across the UK Inbound operation, ensuring timely collections are planned for all UK vendors. As a proactive leader with a passion for logistics, you will streamline processes, develop the team, monitor performance, and foster collaboration across inbound and outbound activities to deliver cost savings.

This permanent, full-time role offers rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, with hours 07:00–21:00,

Qualifications

• Experience with Transport and route planning.
• Have previous team supervisor/management experience.
• Experience using the Paragon Planning tool is desirable.
• Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
• You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage your team

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planning team and play a key role in the development of people and processes across the account areas.
• Streamline Processes: Lead and support the Vendor Comunication team to ensure collections are agreed and planned for the following day.
• Bring together the Inbound and Outbound operations to create synergies and cost savings.
• Monitor Performance: Track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed our goals.
• Foster Collaboration: Build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability and teamwork.
