Job summary

Ericsson UK is hiring a Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end monthly payroll for around 1,900 employees. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with UK tax rules, and act as the point of contact for payroll, pensions, and related queries.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance, strengthen controls, and contribute to payroll improvements across the UK entities. A strong background in SAP payroll and ADP GlobalView is required.

Qualifications

• Proven UK payroll expertise, ideally with 10+ years’ hands-on payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, HMRC guidance, PAYE, NI, PSA, pensions, and year-end processes.
• Experience with SAP payroll processing; ADP GlobalView preferred.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Teams).
• CIPP qualification preferred or equivalent payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly payroll lifecycle for approximately 1,900 UK employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collect, review, and validate payroll inputs such as starters, leavers, salary changes, tax codes, pension changes, and monthly amendments.
• Process end-to-end payroll using SAP SuccessFactors and the ADP GlobalView payroll solution.
• Coordinate international mobility payroll activities and liaise with HR and external tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, NMW, PSA, pensions, and HMRC requirements; support audits.
