Job summary

Ericsson seeks a seasoned Payroll Delivery Specialist UK to manage the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle for around 1,900 employees in Reading. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing, coordinating with HR, Finance, and external advisors.

Key requirements include 10+ years of UK payroll experience, strong knowledge of PAYE/NI/PSA, SAP payroll, and ADP GlobalView. A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/HR and CPCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven UK payroll expertise with 10+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, PSA) and year-end processes.
• Experience with SAP payroll processing; ADP GlobalView is advantageous.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• CIPP qualification preferred, or equivalent payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the UK monthly payroll lifecycle for around 1,900 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Validate payroll inputs including starters, leavers, changes, and statutory payments.
• Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing using SAP and ADP GlobalView.
• Handle international mobility payroll activities and liaise with HR and external tax advisors.
• Ensure PAYE, NI, PSA compliance and year-end payroll requirements.
• Support pensions and benefits payroll processing and liaise with providers.
• Prepare payroll reports, journals, and reconciliations with Finance.
• Address employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure data accuracy and deadlines.
• Contribute to payroll transformation and process improvements.
