Job summary

Ericsson in Reading, United Kingdom is seeking a UK Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end monthly payroll for ~1,900 employees. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with UK legislation, advising on payroll, pensions, and taxes while supporting governance and process improvements.

You will work with SAP SuccessFactors and ADP GlobalView, collaborating with HR and Finance to resolve payroll queries and drive continuous improvement in payroll controls.

Qualifications

• Proven UK payroll expertise with end-to-end processing experience.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience with SAP payroll processing and ADP GlobalView preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across HR, Finance, and external providers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate payroll with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly payroll cycles for ~1,900 UK employees.
• Prepare and validate payroll inputs including starters, leavers, changes, and pension updates.
• Process end-to-end payroll and statutory payments with internal systems (SAP, ADP).
• Handle international mobility payroll activities with HR and tax advisors.
• Ensure PAYE, NI, PSA, and HMRC compliance and year-end processes.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and external providers to ensure data accuracy.
