Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services UK&I is hiring a UK Payroll SME in London. The role focuses on end-to-end UK payroll knowledge, managing Year Start/End activities, and guiding an offshore team within a hybrid working model.

The candidate will ensure policy adherence, drive KPI/SLA targets, and provide SME-level support for UK payroll queries while mentoring distributed teams across locations.

Qualifications

• End-to-end knowledge of UK Payroll (SME)
• Full knowledge of UK Year Start/End activities and managing UAT/UVT events
• Ability to guide and mentor Offshore Team
• Analytical mindset and data-driven problem solving
• Proven ability to drive process improvement
• Ability to resolve complex and challenging queries
• Sound knowledge of statutory compliances of UK payroll
• Experience in working with a distributed or offshore team
