Job summary

Sentinel seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Pensions and Payroll Consultant with deep Oracle Fusion Global Payroll expertise to join a dynamic delivery team for UK client implementations, rollouts, optimizations and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll experience, strong UK legislation knowledge, and the ability to lead workshops and translate business needs into technical specs. SC Clearance is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM / R12 Payroll modules.
Expert proficiency in UK payroll rules, tax laws, pension administration, and statutory deductions.
Experience writing Fast Formulas and using HDL or BI reporting tools.
Solid understanding of the full SDLC from blueprinting to hypercare support.
Excellent client-facing communication bridging IT and payroll teams.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle Fusion Payroll and Absence/OTL (Oracle Time & Labour) modules.
Ensure alignment with UK payroll legislation, including RTI, Year-End processing, Auto-Enrolment Pensions, and HMRC integrations.
Analyze and resolve issues related to Payroll Elements, Balances, Fast Formulas, and payroll flow orchestrations.
Support data validation, conversion templates, parallel reconciliation, SIT, and UAT.
Run client workshops, gather requirements, translate to specs, and advise on best practices.
Perform impact analysis and regression testing for Oracle Quarterly Updates.
