Job summary

Pavion is seeking an Operations Manager (UK) to lead all UK-based operations, spanning pre-sales to service delivery and aftercare. You will drive improvements, oversee budgets, and promote profitability across Projects and Service works.

This role requires strong leadership, risk management, and experience with enterprise-level access control and CCTV systems. Travel to client sites will be needed, with a primary presence in Hemel Hempstead.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for your team, and customers, identify and remove roadblocks.
• Develop and manage strategic team direction and initiatives, in partnership with the rest of the management team.
• Establishes short and long-term program objectives and ensures team members meet them, via training and mentoring.
• Develops a relationship with decision makers of customers and promotes the company to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
• Monitors programmes progress and reports this in regular meetings with managers and stakeholders.
• Assigns tasks to team members to ensure project objectives are completed.
• Develops regular budgets and schedules to support the program's implementation.
• Oversees project plans and implements job procedures for scheduling and coordination.
• Carries out site visits, risk analyses and health & safety risk assessments.
• Oversees orders and procurement, ensuring timely delivery to site.
• Determines changes in design or price and implements plans for profitability.
• Selects and monitors subcontractors.
• Keeps all parties informed of progress.
• Forecasts and ensures cost control by reviewing financials.
• Ensures paperwork and handovers are completed to standards.
• Ensures invoicing is accurate, timely and profitable.
