Job summary

Carrier is seeking an experienced UK Service Operations Director to lead the UK Service business, overseeing operational excellence, profitability, and customer value. You will drive digital and connected service initiatives, collaborate with European leaders, and travel regularly across the UK to ensure strategic execution.

Reporting to the UK MD, you will manage budgets, forecast performance, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring compliance and safety across all service activities.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within a service or technical operations environment.
• Demonstrated success managing large operational teams across multiple sites.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading operational transformation and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams through coaching and leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at executive level.
• Data-driven decision making with analytical problem-solving.
• Experience with ERP/FSMS like SAP or ServiceMax.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and financial performance of the UK Service business to targets.
• Own the annual budget, forecasting, planning and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency, productivity and profitability.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality service operations with standardized processes.
• Collaborate with Sales Director to accelerate service growth and recurring revenue.
• Lead adoption of connected and digital service solutions.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop strategic plans to improve pricing, margins, and performance.
• Build senior relationships with key customers and oversee talent development.
