Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Business Development leader to drive growth for our O&M services across the UK. You will lead key accounts, identify opportunities, and convert them into formal contracts, working closely with the bid team.

This role requires experience in industrial environments, strong understanding of process plant operations, and the ability to manage high-hazard projects. You will report to the Group BD Director and help with forecasting and metrics.

Qualifications

• Degree required in a relevant technical or business discipline.
• Experience in a similar industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of process plant operation.
• Experience managing operations in a high hazard environment.
• BD experience or selling service-based solutions.
• Knowledge of commercial contracting.

Responsibilities

• Provide BD leadership for existing and new customers in the UK.
• Identify opportunities and convert them into commercial contracts.
• Front client relationship development and bid support.
• Collaborate with bid team to generate proposals and bids.
• Support budget, forecasting, and monthly/annual metrics.
• Log opportunities and communications in HubSpot.
• Report to and assist Group BD Director.
