Job summary

IES Utilities is seeking a Distribution Electric Framework Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of LV/HV infrastructure frameworks across OHL and UG networks. You will manage multi-discipline delivery teams, coordinate with SAPs and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with safety, budget and schedule requirements.

The role requires 5–7 years in UK power distribution, strong NEC3/NEC4 experience, and a professional PM qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of management experience in UK power distribution (LV/HV up to 33kV).
• Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract mechanisms in utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of LV/HV framework contracts from inception to closeout.
• Coordinate resources across geographic work clusters including internal delivery teams and subcontractors.
• Align programmes with DNO outage windows to maximise network availability and minimise penalties.
• Manage third-party interfaces including Street Works, landowners and environmental bodies.
• Hold P&L accountability; manage budgets and cash flow for the framework.
• Oversee NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including variation processes and EWNs/CEs.
• Champion zero-harm safety culture and ensure CDM 2015 compliance across delivery teams.
• Provide weekly/monthly progress reviews with DNO clients and stakeholders.
