Job summary

ESP Utilities Group Ltd is seeking an ambitious Design Engineer Lead with strong LV/HV design knowledge to lead a team of Design Engineers across Gas, Water and Electric networks. The role involves ensuring compliance with design, construction and safety standards and liaising with customers on network design issues.

• LV & HV electricity network design experience with IT-based design software.
• Proficient in 2D CAD drawing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Design Engineers across all full classes (Gas, Water, Electric).
• Ensure design, construction, and safety standards compliance; adhere to ESP assurance process.
• Liaise with customers on network design issues for policy compliance.
• Manage connections on ESP networks and evaluate reinforcement requirements.
• Oversee capacity and demand negotiations with upstream parties.
• Record and track projects across electric workstreams using team trackers and systems.
• Contribute to process improvements to boost efficiency and customer service.
