Job summary

Blok ‘N’ Mesh is seeking an UK Installations Operations Manager to oversee the full running of the installations department. The role focuses on delivering a high standard of customer service while adhering to health & safety guidelines across internal and external operations.

Key duties include ensuring sufficient resources, coordinating with Sales, Transport, Production and Product Development, maintaining staff training records, and delivering accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Experience managing installation departments or projects.
• Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and compliance.
• Ability to plan resource and scheduling across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Install all customer fencing to required standards.
• Ensure adequate resources to cover all installation work.
• Coordinate with Sales and Transport Planning for stock deliveries and dates.
• Collaborate with Production and Product Development on new products.
• Create and maintain staff qualifications and training records.
• Develop and maintain a robust schedule of works and purchasing system.
• Ensure invoicing is accurate and on time.
• Maintain vehicles and plant within the Installs Department.
• Present monthly information and reports.

Job Title : UK Installation Operations Manager

Reports to: TBC

Hours: 8am – 5pm

Monday – Friday

Description

UK Installations Operations Manager is responsible for the overall running and accountability of

the Blok ‘N’ Mesh Global installations department. Installs Operations Manager is required to

ensure that the department effectively runs day to day to deliver a satisfactory service to the

customer, adhering to all H&S aspects, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Install all customer fencing requirements to the required standard both internally and externally
• Ensure the department has adequate levels of resource to cover all required installation work
• Working closely with Sales and Transport Planning to ensure a satisfactory level of communication for stock deliveries and start/completion dates of all work
• Liaise with both Production and new Product Development on the concept of any new products
• Create a full staff register to include qualifications and training requirements
• Ensure subcuast spend is at a minimum
• Ensure all loading plans, RAMS, Risk Assesments and Site Surveys are correct and complete
• Create and maintain a robust, visible schedule of works so that all Sales Managers can have visibility of current and proposed work capacity
• Create and maintain a robust installations work plan. It must include, but not limited to, schedule of works, people, H&S requirements and sign off for invoicing
• Ensure all jobs are complete and signed off so that invoicing is accurate and on time
• Liaise with all suppliers of required equipment
• Create and maintain a robust purchasing system to all any accounts transactions to be
• Maintain all vehicles and plant within the Installs Department
• Install a routine of Continuous Improvement at all times
• Present monthly information and reports as required
