Job summary

Rhenus Logistics is seeking an Installation Coordinator to support allocated customer projects, ensuring dates, resources and requirements are clearly identified. You will work with Senior Project Coordinators to keep the internal work planner accurate and assist with site surveys and meetings, providing support to the Installation Management team.

Qualifications

• Experience of mechanical or electrical installation.
• Fluent in Microsoft applications.
• Good communication with customer contacts.
• Flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn; available two weekends per month.
• Good people management skills.
• Able to work on own initiative within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing allocated customer projects; identify dates, resources and requirements.
• Work with Senior Project Coordinators to keep internal work planner up to date and accurate.
• Attend Site Surveys & Project Meetings; provide support to IM.
• Accurately manage and control costs across projects with crews and suppliers.
• Address installation issues; escalate to Installation Manager; maintain traceability.
• Review deliveries and installations prior to scheduling; liaise with account coordinators.
• Maintain good relations with Installation Management teams across regions for coverage.
• Provide support and team briefings with Team Leaders during installations.
• Audit installations, report issues, raise non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Asist with installations on site as required.

Job DescriptionWhat you can expectMain Activities

• Assist Manage allocated customer projects, ensuring that dates, resources, and requirements are clearly identified
• Work closely with Senior Project Coordinators to ensure Internal work planner is kept up to date and accurate
• Attend Site Surveys & Project Meetings when required – providing support to IM.
• Accurately manage and provide cost control measures throughout all projects with crews and suppliers.
• Deal with installation issues on these projects as they arise, escalate to the Installation Manager when required, keeping full traceability on all issues.
• Review all allocated deliveries and installations prior to scheduling to ensure all equipment, staff and third-party suppliers are in-place and complete, liaising with all account coordinators where required.
• Liaise and have a good working relationship with the Installation Management team for the other region to ensure all work is covered efficiently as possible.
• Provide Support and Team briefings with Team Leaders running Installation.
• Audit and spot check installations and report back performance and any issues encountered, raise non-conformances, and suggest and implement corrective actions
• Asist with installations on site as and when demand requires.

What you bringPeople

• Support with Cross training and upskilling of Installation staff
• Support with timesheet authorisation and management of overtime.
• Review customer processes and suggest improvements and change.
• Encourage support & train Rhenus lead technicians to undertake site surveys and create RAMS
• Provide cover for holiday and sickness for Assistant Installations Managers
• Maintain Health and Safety records and liaise with our consultants to ensure that we work within all the relevant legislation

Key Skills And Experience

• A Flexible, Can-do attitude and willingness to learn & available to work 2 weekends per month paid at an agreed overtime rate.
• Experience of mechanical or electrical Installation
• Fluent in Microsoft applications
• Experience in dealing directly with customer contacts and good communication skills
• Be comfortable with a fluid schedule

Most hold a full UK Drivers Licence
