Your contribution

As the HR and Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing all HR activities in Tecan UK and ensuring smooth communication with Global HQ and the Global HR Team. You will also manage the office operations in the UK, working closely with senior leaders locally. This role involves handling the entire Employee Life Cycle process, from recruitment to exit procedures, and ensuring compliance with local legal regulations.

Your responsibilities
  • Manage all internal and external HR-related queries and requests.
  • Advise line managers and employees on employment law and company policies.
  • Oversee yearly HR processes, organizational changes, and payroll preparation.
  • Lead the recruitment process and manage the Employee Life Cycle.
  • Maintain and update employee records and the Employee handbook and any local company documents/policies.
  • Manage employee benefits and work closely with external third-party providers.
  • Support various ad hoc requests from the Management Team and Global HR Projects.
  • Handle local procurement of office supplies, event bookings, and facility management.
  • Organize first-line IS/IT support and manage the car fleet.
Your background

  • Completed Secondary Education; further education in Business Administration or HR or similar field.
  • Experience in HR Admin and Office Management.
  • Proficiency in SAP, SuccessFactors, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Labor Law and local HR regulations.
  • Fluent in English; any other European language is a plus.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-driven with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
