Job summary

Techrete UK & Ireland seeks a Head of Projects UK to lead and mentor a team of Project Managers across our precast concrete facade projects from Leicester base. You will drive delivery, safety, and client satisfaction, partnering with design, production and site teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Reporting to the Operations & Projects Director, you will shape project governance, oversee budgets and variations, and develop talent while maintaining a proactive safety culture across all

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in construction, structural engineering or facade sectors.
• Strong knowledge of precast concrete industry and site delivery.
• Proven track record leading project teams and managing client relationships.
• Experience managing diverse project packages from planning to handover.
• Structured, process-driven approach to schedules, logistics and budgets.
• Commercial awareness with ability to monitor variations and maintain project health.

Responsibilities

• Programme delivery across a regional project portfolio, keeping milestones.
• Overseeing budgets, variations and financial health of projects.
• Directing and developing project managers and site teams.
• Mentoring team members and supporting career growth.
• Maintaining excellent client communications and relationships with main contractors and architects.
• Championing safety culture and ensuring compliant, safe workplaces.
• Ensuring smooth collaboration between design, production and site installation.
