Job summary

ICE is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel across the UK, diagnosing, servicing and repairing industrial cleaning equipment. You will attend maintenance visits, PA test calls, and breakdowns while ensuring work is completed within SLAs and documented in the central system.

You should have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, good communication skills, and a valid UK manual driving licence. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to interpret manuals, schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot faults.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient with diagnostic instruments and common repair tools.
• Familiarity with safety protocols governing industrial servicing.
• Experience in field service engineering or similar environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to customers with courteous communication.
• Attend repairs within service level agreements.
• Complete scheduled maintenance visits and PA Test calls on time.
• Update jobs in SERVICESMARTPro with accurate data.
• Order parts and manage van stock to ensure availability.
• Generate detailed site visit reports to keep asset data up to date.
• Promote safe working practices and comply with health and safety rules.
• Attend meetings and contribute to process improvements.
