Job summary

Claranet Limited is seeking an experienced Facilities and Health & Safety Manager to lead workplace safety, facilities management and property strategy across the UK. You will develop strategy, policies and compliance frameworks, advise senior leaders, manage risk, oversee budgets, and drive a proactive health, safety and wellbeing culture across office, home and hybrid environments.

This role requires UK-wide travel and a full driving licence, with opportunities to shape the company's

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
• IWFM qualification or MBIFM membership.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between UK sites.
• IOSH membership and additional specialist qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering health & safety strategy, policies, compliance framework and continuous improvement plans.
• Acting as the organisation's competent health & safety adviser, providing pragmatic guidance to senior leaders and managers.
• Leading risk management activities, including risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, compliance reporting and emergency preparation.
• Managing occupational health, wellbeing and workplace safety programmes across office, home and hybrid environments.
• Driving a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture through training, engagement and leadership coaching.
• Leading facilities management across the UK property portfolio, including maintenance, security, workplace services, sustainability initiatives and supplier management.
• Developing and delivering workplace and property strategies that support business growth, acquisitions, office moves and organisational change.
• Managing facilities, property and health & safety budgets, contracts, statutory compliance obligations and service providers.
• Overseeing workplace refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring delivery to agreed quality, cost and compliance standards.
• Producing clear management reporting on compliance, risks, incidents, performance and improvement opportunities.
• Leading, coaching and developing Front of House resources while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Education

NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent)

IWFM qualification (MBIFM) or equivalent Facilities Management experience

Full UK driving licence

IOSH Membership

NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6

Specialist qualifications in Fire Safety, CDM, Legionella, Contractor Management or Occupational Health
