Job summary

Claranet UK is seeking an experienced Facilities and Health & Safety Manager to lead workplace safety, facilities management and property strategy across the UK. You will develop strategies, policies and compliance programs to keep sites safe and well-maintained.

The role requires NEBOSH National General Certificate, IWFM/MBIFM, and a valid UK driving licence with willingness to travel between sites. You will mentor Front of House teams, manage budgets and drive continuous improvement in office,

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate is required.
• IWFM qualification / MBIFM membership or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between UK sites.
• IOSH membership is desirable.
• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 qualification desirable.
• Specialist qualifications in Fire Safety, CDM, Legionella, Contractor Management or Occupational Health desirable.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering health & safety strategy, policies, compliance framework and improvement plans.
• Acting as the organisation's competent health & safety adviser to senior leaders.
• Leading risk management activities including risk assessments, investigations, audits and reporting.
• Managing occupational health, wellbeing and workplace safety programmes across office, home and hybrid environments.
• Driving a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture through training and leadership coaching.
• Leading facilities management across the UK property portfolio, including maintenance and supplier management.
• Developing workplace and property strategies to support growth, moves and change.
• Managing facilities budgets, contracts and statutory compliance.
• Overseeing refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects to quality and cost standards.
• Producing management reporting on compliance, risks, incidents and improvements.
• Leading Front of House resources and building stakeholder relationships.
