The project:
We have just commenced a key strategic relationship with a leading global financial services organisation working within the Independent PMO function across Corporate Services. We are searching for an inspirational team leader to steer our Regional IPMO team across UK and Europe regions.
In the next year, we will be supporting our client to deliver approximately $1BN of capital expenditure across 5 global regions and the UK/Europe. The Regional IPMO Lead will be integral to the success of this delivery.

- Is a trusted advisor to and builds strong professional relationships with client organizations.
- Acts as the PMO and project controls subject matter expert on assigned projects, programs, portfolios.
- Leads and directs the project team in the administration of the PMO and project controls processes, particularly with respect to cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting to achieve key objectives and escalate performance and management issues.
- Leads and directs periodic reporting and structured governance and performance meetings.
- Leads and directs the development and management of baselines (scope, time, cost, risk, assumptions) and subsequent delivery performance, change, and contingency monitoring, including quantitative risk analysis (cost and time).
- Ensures all activities/operations comply with Mace control centre, client requirements, and prevailing legislation.
- Provides line management to junior PMO and project controls resources and other project/programme staff as required.
- Utilizes expertise to mentor and assist in the personal and career development of junior team members.
- Innovates and aligns with industry best practices to ensure continued service excellence.
- Leads the delivery of a high-performing PMO and project control team on the assigned commission.
- Supports the hub PMO and project control director with resourcing and recruitment.
- Works collaboratively towards the goal of net zero carbon transition and manages associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

- Security vetting clearance including higher financial check.
You’ll also have:
- Experience in mobilization and delivery phases of projects in corporate real estate, ideally.
- Deep property or infrastructure PMO expertise.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape project outlooks.
