Transport and Environment (T&E) is seeking a UK Director to lead the UK Office in London, shaping policy and media strategy to accelerate decarbonisation of UK transport. You will work with members, industry partners and policymakers to grow T&E UK’s influence across the UK and EU, supporting fundraising and strategic growth.

The role requires a decade of relevant experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to build cross‑sector coalitions that drive policy change.

Formación

• Ten years of relevant experience in either transport or advocacy.
• Experienced leader with a track record of developing externally focused teams.
• Proven ability to cultivate contacts across the democratic political spectrum and build lasting alliances.
• Deep understanding of the UK and ideally EU political system with expertise in regulations.
• Experience developing strategies to create change in a complex sector at the intersection of think tank and NGO work.
• Ability to prioritise among competing issues and deliver on multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Represent T&E UK at the highest political level and across media channels.
• Inspire and grow the T&E UK team with inclusive leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of UK public policy and regulatory processes accelerating zero-emission mobility.
• Manage the UK office's operations, finances and HR as part of the leadership team.
• Coordinate with members, NGOs and industry partners to identify new allies.
