UK Deployment Operations Lead

Job summary

Hive is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage the UK deployment of its Autonomous Industrial Operations platform. You will split time between customer sites and coordinating the broader operational structure with engineering and delivery teams in Norway and the UK.

You will own day-to-day execution, ensure site readiness, and drive safety, efficiency and a superior customer experience across proof-of-concept, validation and live deployments in the UK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading industrial operations, field operations, service delivery or customer operations.
• Experience coordinating operational teams or shift-based organisations.
• Strong planning, coordination and execution skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities change quickly.
• Hands-on mindset with a willingness to spend significant time on customer sites.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deployments: lead the operational execution of Hive's first UK proofs-of-concept, validation projects and deployments with customers, engineering and delivery teams.
• Operational delivery: own day-to-day execution once deployments are live, coordinating operators, shift planning, first-line support and performance improvements.
• Operational readiness: ensure sites are prepared before deployment, coordinate operator training, HSE requirements and procedures.
• Customer operations: build relationships with customer teams and act as a trusted operational partner, resolving issues and improving experience.
• Build operational capability: help establish Hive's UK footprint, develop processes, documentation and ways of working to scale with new customers.
• Continuous improvement: capture feedback and work with Engineering, Product and Delivery to improve platform and processes.
