Exotec is seeking a Project Operations Director - Warehouse Automation in the United Kingdom to lead and scale our Project Operations within Deployment. You will oversee design through installation, commissioning, and handover to Maintenance, while upholding safety, quality, and financial targets.

The role requires 10+ years in a similar leadership role, a Bachelor's in Engineering, fluent English, and strong cross-functional collaboration with customers and partners, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, including people management.
• Experience managing complex and technical projects, ideally in warehouse automation or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, contractor coordination, and site delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project operations delivery across your business scope with focus on structure and growth.
• Oversee projects from design to installation, commissioning and handover to Maintenance.
• Drive safety and quality, ensuring standards are respected by teams and partners.
• Build and scale the Project Operations team and culture.
• Collaborate with Deployment, R&D, Maintenance, Sales and customers.
• Improve deployment processes as the business scales.
• Support Sales during offer validation and early project discussions.
