Job summary

GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. in the UK is seeking a Trade Compliance Senior Manager to shape and embed robust trade compliance processes across our defence operations. The role offers remote work with travel across the UK and Europe, including Northampton meetings once or twice a month.

The ideal candidate will have extensive aerospace/defence trade compliance experience, strong ITAR/EAR knowledge and the ability to build scalable governance frameworks and training for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive trade compliance experience in aerospace/defence.
• Hands-on ITAR and EAR knowledge.
• Experience managing export licences and restricted goods.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
• Experience with UK defence contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop UK trade compliance processes and governance.
• Lead activity covering ITAR, EAR, licences, UK Dual-Use and sanctions.
• Create scalable defence compliance playbook and governance framework.
• Deliver training to operational teams, procurement, security and commercial.
• Act as UK SME, supporting audits, investigations and inspections.
