Job summary

Beazley Management Limited in the UK seeks an experienced UK Data Protection Officer to lead the UK Data Protection team within Compliance. You will oversee data privacy risk across the licensed footprint and ensure adherence to applicable laws and global privacy policies.

The role requires collaboration with regional DPOs, external advisers and internal stakeholders to embed a global DP framework, manage incidents, DPIAs and cross-border data transfers, and report on KPIs to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Privacy and Data Protection.
• Previous DPO experience.
• Degree level educated.

Responsibilities

• Map UK entities' privacy obligations to a comprehensive set of activities and controls.
• Embed a global DP framework across the organisation.
• Oversee UK DP team delivery against internal SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with regional DPOs and stakeholders to ensure cross-border GDPR compliance.
